Homesteading with Grace

Here at Abundant Grace Homestead, we are striving to live life through the abundant grace that we have been given, and in turn show and give that grace to those around us, affecting positive change in our community. This won’t simply be about chickens or sourdough (although we love both of those!), but we will also include our faith and family as they combine in this great life journey.

Our Homestead

Below are a few of the things we do on the homestead

We have a few hives here on the homestead. The bees help us with pollination and we hope they will provide us with honey and beeswax for our store!

Chickens are a lot of fun here on the homestead. We keep egg chickens regularly and have also raised meat chickens. Chickens keep us full up on eggs and provide some comic relief as well.

Firewood

As we heat primarily with wood, we always have plenty of firewood processing going on here. We manage our trees taking only the dead, damaged trees, leaving the live trees to continue providing some shade!

Homemade Goodness

We also make some products here on the homestead that we like to share with others. We have them for sale in our store. You can order online and we’ll ship them to you, or you can pickup in person. Whatever way you choose, you’ll be happy to know that everything we sell is made here from all natural ingredients you can pronounce, and NEVER have any artificial dyes or fragrances.

Baked-in

We love our baked goods here! Everything we bake utilizes our fresh-ground, whole wheat flours that have amazing flavor and delicious textures. Everything including sourdough bread (rustic and sandwich), sourdough muffins, sourdough banana bread, sourdough soda bread, and even sourdough chocolate cake (it’s the best)! Check out our blog for some write-ups about our baking!
